The Retro Gallery

The Retro Gallery is a pop-up central London art space tucked away upstairs at The Retro Bar, hidden down a little alleyway just off the strand in the West End.

Kat and co-founder Allie Clarke started The Retro Gallery with a vision to create a free-to-hire gallery space in central London open to artists of all backgrounds. The Gallery has played host to a wide variety of artists from all over the world.

Described as ‘one of Gay London’s secret gems’ by Time Out magazine, The Retro Bar is the perfect host for this diverse space for artists of all backgrounds.

Famous for it’s celebration of great music including 70s and 80s New Romantic, goth, disco, and punk, The Retro Gallery adds visual arts to the venue’s eclectic celebration of the eccentric and alternative.
